BIM Technician
We are looking for a BIM Technician to join our team!
We offer a supportive, collaborative workplace culture, with opportunity to learn and share knowledge. Our team are delivering a mixture of new build and refurbishments schemes, with some technically challenging designs. We have an experienced team of designers who will help you develop your skills, and who are keen to listen and learn from ideas that you bring.
This is principally an office-based role, as the candidate would need to coordinate with both the internal engineering team and an external technician team. You would be working with our BIM lead, supporting in drawing production, the QA of external CAD technicians and the management of workflow and delivery programs.
The ideal candidate will need an eye for detail, good organisational skills and an enthusiasm for new ways of working. Ideally you would have experience of Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo and ACC (Blender would also be useful) and we would provide support and development of your experience and capability with these tools.
Our ideal candidate would have between 2 and 5 years’ experience working as a technician in a structural engineering consultancy, but an individuals attitude and approach is more important to us.
